SYRIAN REFUGEE PROPOSAL
Expectations:
- This proposal uses essential knowledge and skills to demonstrate critical, creative, and adaptive thinking to solve problems with real-world applications; specifically, in the international setting for the sake of social justice.
- This proposal demonstrate civic and social awareness regarding the global refugee crisis; specifically, indicating a humanitarian responsibility towards the issue.
PROPOSAL MARKETING PLAN
Expectations:
- This project, being in the form of a video, demonstrates effective communication in multiple contexts and for varied purposes using a variety of tools/media; specifically, this was created using iMovie with video and audio insertion.
CATAPULT PROJECT
Expectations:
- This lab is a direct result of creating a technical product: a functioning trebuchet.
- This lab report showcases productive engagement in self-directed learning, independently, and/or collaboratively in that it was a group project with some self-directed components. The project was completed collaboratively with three other students in which we had to work together to build the trebuchet, perform trials, and write the lab report.
MIGRANT CRISIS PAPER
Expectations:
- This paper conveys respect to people as individuals within our global communities in the way it tackles a humanitarian issue on a global scale; specifically, it shows respect and sympathy to the war victims displaced from Middle Eastern communities.
DISSOCIATIVE IDENTITY DISORDER PAPER
Expectations:
- This paper showcases the application of skills for a lifetime of health and well-being considering the in-depth research into mental health and a specific mental disorder. While DID is not a common disorder, research included information on how to manage and address mental illnesses in general.
